Energy costs for consumers up

In New York metro area, the cost of residential energy use shot up 10.8 per cent in June! This is the biggest one-month increase on record.

Last week ConEd, that monstrous utility company, said that residential customers would be charged22 per cent more this summer than in summer 2007.
