Generally the New York Times Style section is pretty insipid, but last Sunday’s article on Green Buzz made a decent, if not new, point. There is green overload. Every architecture firm and its mother is rebranding itself as green.
Verlyn Klinkenborg seems like a sweet old man, but his ruminations on the rural life and changing seasons are awfully precious. However, he does touch upon the speed and superficial depth with which “green” consciousness has invaded our lives.
